This is a newly restored Vendo 81 machine; one of the most popular models of soda machine. These were used by Coca Cola back in the 1950s, but were phased out because their vending price is only 10¢ and couldn't go any higher.
The early Vendo 81s were entirely red machines. The second generation was the 81-B, which was changed to have a white top with a stainless steel trim. Later, the 81-D model was developed and this also had a white top, but it had a larger coin mechanism door on the front of the machine. (You can view one of our Vendo 81-Ds here.)

We've fully redone this machine inside and out. It has a brand new base-coat, clear-coat paint job and decals like the original factory design. Other newly installed parts and restorative changes are:
