Nebraska Cornhuskers Cavalier USS-64
Before restoring this machine, we collaborated with our customer on the paint, decal scheme, and design on the lighted sign. A digital model was made and a different versions of the machine were demonstrated before beginning. Here you can see a picture of the unrestored machine and the three versions proposed.
Cavalier USS-64s were manufactured between 1964 and 1972. This is the oldest model machine that can vend both bottles and cans. Each shelf inside can be individually adjusted to vend either, or both at the same time. It also has a 'sold-out mechanism' which prevents the rack from vending if no product is available on a given shelf.
